Southern Marin Community Resiliency Team

As the lead agency for the Southern Marin Community Resiliency Team since the Fall of 2021, the Marin County Cooperation Team (“MCCT”) builds capacity and infrastructure in collaboration with partners to respond to and recover from public health threats and emergencies with equitable support for vulnerable communities.

• MCCT is tasked with building community partnerships; hosting monthly zone meetings and activities with community partners; developing a communications plan to ensure rapid and coordinated information sharing in the Southern Marin Community; and being a conduit between Marin Health and Human Services and the Southern Marin community. 

• MCCT has built cross-sector partnerships with healthcare providers such as Kaiser Permanente, Marin Health, Marin Community Clinics, and Marin City Health and Wellness Center, Marin Health and Human Services (HHS), and numerous Marin City focused community based organizations (CBOs) and stakeholders.

• Since Spring 2024, MCCT has provided health fairs on diabetes, heart health, women’s & men’s health, and mental health.

• We are also the primary Southern Marin agency tasked with distributing Narcan to the community, conducting Narcan training, installing Naloxone Boxes and Narcan vending machines, and facilitating emergency preparedness trainings for our most vulnerable residents.
